It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Audrey L Aldis Lacheta (West Dundee, Illinois), born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Adam Besch and Bernadette R. Besch; her former husband William H. "Bill" Aldis, Jr.; and her siblings, Robert L., Norman L., Gerard H. Besch, Delores Katchmark and Ruth Welker.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" F. Lacheta; her son Ronald "Ron" Aldis (Kathy); her grandson Chad Aldis (Dayna); her great grandchild Emma Aldis; her stepchildren, Pamela Javor (Jim), Lawrence Lacheta, Diane Haugen (Kenneth) and Timothy Lacheta (Judy); and her sister Barbara Ledermann. She is also survived by Her 12 Step-grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren and 8 step-great great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life and memorial gathering will be held later this year after the COVID Pandemic restrictions have been lifted.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either the Carpentersville Fire Department or Journey Care Hospice Foundation.
