It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley L. Woomer of West Chicago, Illinois, born in Millvale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Ladish and Helen Ladish; her husband William Woomer; and her son David A. Woomer. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary-Beth Woomer and Amy-Jo Wierenga (Tim); and her grandchildren, Peter Wierenga (Danya James), Natalie Wierenga, Joanna Koh (Meng) and Josiah Wierenga.

Memorial contributions in Shirley's memory can be made to Northern Illinois Food Bank, Kindred Hospice, or Wounded Warrior Project.
