It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phoebe A. Young (West Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on March 30, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Timmons and Treva Timmons (Longanecker); her husband John Andrew Young; her sisters, Madeline Apwisch (Lou), Juanita Harnish (Bill) and Yvonne Wages (Coleman); and her sister-in-law Phyllis Timmons.
She is survived by: her children, Robin (Clair), Chris and Phoebe; her siblings, Dan, Bob (Joan), Glenn (Linda) and Mary Neher (Bob); her children, Christopher (Nanci) and Laurie Kenealy (Eric); her grandchildren, Dana Antoz (Eddie), MollieClaire Deguc (Jamie), Madeline Young, Zoey Young, Troy Kenealy and Sean Kenealy; and her great grandchildren, Alice, Drummer and Lucy Deguc.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Phoebe's name to Heifer International, as this organization was important to her.
