It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Alan Hughes (West Chicago, Illinois), born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Hughes and Bettie Jo Hughes of Salem, IN.. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Hughes, Kathleen Cotton and Steven Cotton (Amy); his granddaughter Lexi of Brookfield, IL.; his siblings, Neil Hughes (Ginger) of Peru, IN and Mari Jo McClure (Carl) of Warner Robins, GA.; and his former wife Susan Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
