She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Evelyn Smith; her husband Mo Zarate; her daughter Christine Zarate; her brother Harold Smith (Patricia); and her siblings-in-law, Jane Rodriguez and Leon Zarate (late Arlene).
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Smith (Harry), Cary Zarate (Laura) and Penny Zarate; her grandchildren, Matthew Zarate (Ashley), Brittany Bluemlein (Scott) and Michael Zarate; her great grandchildren, Brewyn and Hadley; her brother Richard Smith; and her sister-in-law Catherine Rzeszotarski (late Robert). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
