In loving memory of David James Nickelson (West Chicago, Illinois), born in Geneva, Illinois, who departed this world on July 16, 2024 at the age of 67. Though David James may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nickelson and Irene Nickelson; and his brother John Nickelson Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Karen Nickelson; and his daughters, Lauren Blackford (Colin), Kristin Nickelson (TD Ortiz) and Robyn Richards (Jeff). He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
