He is survived by: his brother Don Coy; his children, Stephanie Ewing (JJ) and Keith Buchardt (Cindy); his grandchildren, Dane Ewing, Kayla Buchardt, Sarah Collie (Devon), Megan Coelho (Tiago) and Melanie Heiss (DJ); and his great grandchildren, Sutton, Birkleigh, Alex, Christian and Declan.

“I played a lot of golf with Dale since the 90’s. I always enjoyed giving him a hard time about everything. My wife and I visited him several times after his accident both at Loyola and Alden. I will certainly miss hearing his stories and enjoying a round of golf with him. My sincere sympathy to your family. He always spoke fondly of all of you.. We will all miss him too. Rest easy Dale.”
