We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Ruth I. Smith of Wenona, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Benedict and Garnett Benedict (McDonald); her granddaughter Jennifer Taylor; her son-in-law Gregory Plymire Sr.; her brothers, Davey and Ralph Benedict; and her parents-in-law, Marion and Esther Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Smith; her children, Kristina Plymire of Wenona, Ralph Quinn of Phoenix, AZ, Mark Overocker (Lisa) of Newton, KS, Terra Gage (Dave) of Streator and Julie Johnson (Mark) of Chattanooga, TN; and her sister Flora Stechman of Milam, TX.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
