It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael A. Mendola Jr. of Wenona, Illinois, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Michael Mendola and Helen Mendola Sr. (Schuster); his children, Annette Mendola (John Nolt), Michael Mendola III (Danine) and Laura Lusk (Todd); his grandchildren, Evora Kreis, Brandon Tabor, Emma Mendola, Jessica Mendola, Rosemary Lusk and Violet Lusk; his siblings, Linda Polisano (Angelo) and Mark Mendola (Mary Beth); his nephews, Mark Mendola Jr. and Brian Mendola; and his niece Adriana Polisano. He was also cherished by cousins, neighbors and dear friends.
