He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Ekl and Anne Ekl (Chochola); and his brother Ernie Baker. He is survived by: his wife Judy Pillig; his children, Loren Ekl, III of Magnolia, IL and Angela Lipinski (Joe) of Wenona, IL; his brothers, Wayne Ekl (Noreen) of Orland Park, IL and Rick Ekl (Helen) of Bridgeview, IL; his grandchildren, Jessica Taber (Aaron), Elisha Ekl, Jenna Beeler (Stihl), Jordan Lipinski and Jeriana Lipinski; and his great grandchildren, Camron and Aubrey.
