He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Foote and Marion Foote (Matthews); his son Jonathon; and his brother David Foote. He is survived by: his wife Betty Melvin of Wenona; his children, Darrin Foote (Dawn) of Bolingbrook, Stephanie Matthias (Eric) of Arlington Heights and Marisa Kafka (Tony) of Dekalb; his grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Alyssa, Joshua Foote, Elizabeth, Jacob Matthias, John and Abigail "Abby" Kafka; his siblings, Marj Krewer (Dan), Tom Foote, Steve Foote (Jerris) and Marilyn O'Kier (Mike); and his aunt Catherine Jean Daffara. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
