He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschell E. and Ezzie Patra Scott Sr. (Cashmere); and his granddaughter Natalie. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Scott of Wenona; his daughters, Amanda Scott of Washington and Nicole Scott of Des Moines, IA; his brothers, Chris Scott Sr. (Jennifer) and Roger Scott (Kristi); his stepsisters, Joyce Griggs (Dale) of Quincy and Connie Cooley (Mike) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Alex, Jeremy, Mackenzie, Matthew, Megan, Maggie, Nathan, Jaden and Mikayla; and his great grandchildren, Ahlay and Silas.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
