She was predeceased by: her former husband Michael A. Moore; her husband Henry "Hank" Mattern; her granddaughter Hannah Eleanor Phipps; and her stepgrandson Phillip Edgerley. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Moore Phipps of Lacon and Michael E. Moore; her son-in-law Robert Phipps of Lacon; her stepchildren, George Mattern (Margy) of Magnolia and Mary Edgerley (Philip) of Granville; her granddaughters, Emily Moore and Genevieve Phipps; her stepgrandchildren, Christine Migliorini (Joe), Jon Mattern, Anna Mattern, Nick Mattern, Emily Alexander (Pierre) and Rachel Germanovich (Yuriy); and her sisters, Betty Bertolo (late Gary) of Roanoke and Mary Simpson (Ira) of Decatur. She is also survived by two nieces and four nephews.
