He is survived by: his spouse Gertie Dzik; his children, Sue Sandquist (Eric), Cynthia Gerth, Matthew Gerth, John Gerth and Robert Gerth (Melissa); his siblings, Donna Knutson, Donald Gerth (Jean), Danny Gerth (Carol) and Dwayne Gerth (Lori); his grandchildren, Eric, Joshua, Hanah, Joseph, Janel, Josiah Sandquist, Matthew, Isabella, Cody Gerth, Noel Godwin, Sarah Casile, Jacob Emling and Kurtis Emling; and his great grandchildren, Yisraela Sandquist, Zayden Godwin, Laura Godwin, Elijah Gerth, Kammaia Gerth, Elijah Casile and Grace Casile. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
