It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin G. Wilson of Wellington, Illinois, born in Bismarck, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray C. Wilson and Grace Wilson (White); his son Miles; his siblings, Elsie, Ruth, Catherine, June, Dean, George and Rex; his sisters-in-law, Betty and Orla; and his grandson Mark Warner.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Galyen; and his daughters, Alvena Hudson (Gary) of Danville, IL and Teresa Warner (Robert) of Urbana, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven nieces; and five nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Alvin to the Chestnut Street Church of Christ, 709 E. Chestnut St. Hoopeston, IL. 60942.
