He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Pettey and Dora Pettey; and his brother-in-law Neil Baerman. He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, John Pettey (Lori Ann), David Pettey (Sara), Susan Cozzolino (Paul) and Mary Pettey; his grandchildren, Andrew Pettey, Annemarie Pettey, Matthew Pettey and Nathan Pettey; and his sister Carol Baerman.
