He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Roy Topp (Helen) and Frank Stephan (Mary); and his uncle Bob Stephan (Pat). He is survived by: his parents, Robert Topp and Susan Topp; his daughters, Karli Topp and Kaitlyn Topp; his siblings, Steve Topp (Bethany), Lindsay Topp (John) and Christopher Topp (Jakie); his nephew Nathan; his nieces, Charley, Jordyn and Reese; and his uncle Roy Topp (Kathy).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Michael's name to the Epilepsy Foundation.
