With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jean Schless (Wayne, Illinois), who passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Gray and Clara Gray; and her grandson Sam Shelton. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her daughters, Anne Bouchard (Charles), Mary Roach (Dan), Jane Shelton (Tim) and Caroline Andres (Phil); her grandchildren, George (Leah), Olivia (Will), Clara (Clarence), Peter, Mary Alice (Tayler), Maggie and Wren; her great grandchild Henry; and her brother Alan Gray (Julie).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial tributes be made in Mary Jean's honor to the Little Home Church or the Southern Poverty Law Center.
