It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Bradley Brookman of Wayne City, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Brookman and Merrillyn Brookman (Duncan); his wife Ronda Brookman; his children, Teresa Hails (Casey) of Bluford, Danielle Thompson (Jesse Greenwood) of Woodlawn, Emily Brookman (Jared Kalpin) of Fort Myers and Ethan Brookman (Anna Corbier) of Wayne City, Illinois; his grandchildren, Peyton Reed, Trey Greenwood, Trenton Greenwood, Aidan Reed, Weston Hails, Tyce Greenwood, Laney Hails, Shyloh Hails, Brodie Greenwood, Avalynn Thompson, Ayla Brookman, Avery Brookman, Isabella Greenwood, Gabriella Greenwood and Tucker Hails; his pet Sophie; and his siblings, Jerry Mel Brookman of Mount Vernon, Jena Schierbaum (Glen) of Opdyke and Brent Brookman (Kathy) of Bluford, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
