He was predeceased by: his father Steve. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Rector; his children, Gregory Ladage and Denise Figueroa (Jose); his grandchildren, Quentin Rachford, Stephen Rachford, Alejandro Figueroa and Katherine Figueroa; and his brother Terry Ladage (Janet).

Memorial donations may be made to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight (57 Country Place, Springfield, IL 62703) or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
