She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Floyd" Stewart and Melba Bruening Stewart; and her husband Robert G. Shumaker. She is survived by: her sons, John R. Shumaker (Karen) of Godfrey and Jason L. Shumaker (Lori) of Waverly; her grandchildren, Blake Shumaker Winslow (Brittany), Cameron Shumaker of Okeechobee, Jessica Shumaker Waverly, James Theodore "Ted" Shumaker of Waverly and Marlee Shumaker of Murrayville; her great grandchildren, Brantley Shumaker and Barrett Shumaker; and her pets, Bailey and Zoey. She is also survived by sister; several nieces and nephews.
