It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Corey of Waverly, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Raymond and Lucy Jones Stillwell; her husband James Corey; her daughter Brenda Smock; and her siblings, Patty Bentley, Linda Turner and George Stillwell.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Anderson of Waverly, Christina Coy of Springfield, Georgeanna Coy of Waverly, Danny Coy (Angie) of Palmyra and Dana Coy of Carlinville; and her siblings, Shirley Greer (Ron) of Jacksonville, Sue Vedder of Jacksonville and Raymond Stillwell of Prairieville, Louisiana. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
