With solemn reverence, we commemorate Jerry German of Waverly, Illinois, whose life came to an end on June 11, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis William and Lola Lee Metzinger German; and his siblings, Bob German, Ernie German, Ann Whalen and Wilma Bryson.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Hunt; his children, Candice German of Springfield and Gary German (Patty) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Katie Saucier (Joe) of Springfield, Nick Flemming (Alyssa) of Western Springs, Taylor German (Sarah) of Normal and Talia German of Waverly; and his great grandchildren, Evelynn, Kelsey, Emily and Margaret. He is also survived by grandson on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Waverly Rescue Squad and sent to Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692.
