With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Keith Hankins of Waverly, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Hankins and Minnie Hankins; his wife Eloise Turner; his children, Van Hankins (Kathy) of Waverly, Alice Magner (Dan) of Burbank and Andrea Ruedi (John) of Champaign; his grandchildren, Travis McGee (Hannah) of Bluffs, Tiffani McGee of Decatur, Chris Ruedi (Abby) of Champaign, Chris Hankins (Nichole) of Waverly and Sean Magner (Jennifer) of Long Beach, CA; his great grandchildren, Hannah Johnson (Dave), Kirstin Pankiewicz (Alec), Izabel Pender, Bryce McGee, Sloan Ruedi, Penelope Magner and Blair Ruedi; and his great great grandchildren, Marshall Johnson and Callan Johnson.

Memorials may be made to Waverly American Legion or Waverly United Methodist Church and sent to Neece-Airsman-Hires, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692.
