It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances J. Stewart (Waverly, Illinois), who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Frances Jarrett (Rohrer) and Lewis Maxwell Jarrett; her husband Howard W. Stewart; her brother Dr. Robert M. Jarrett, Sr.; her sister-in-law Frances Jarrett; and her children-in-law, Ron Rakes, Wendi Stewart and Veronica Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Michael R. Stewart (Sharon) of New Braunfels and Mary Ann (Colburn); her grandchildren, Michael J. Stewart (Charln) of Houston, Carrie M. (Pickett), Cecily A. Rakes and Amanda L. (Terry); her stepgrandson Cody Colburn; her great grandchildren, Haleigh A. (Pickett), Hunter J. Pickett and Brynne E. Terry; and her great great grandchildren, Isaac G. Barber and Micah E. Barber.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Waverly American Legion Building Fund, Waverly East Cemetery, or Waverly Senior Center and sent to Neece-Airsman-Hires, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692.
