It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ed Burnett of Waverly, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank E. Burnett and Helen Jean Wood Burnett of Auburn; his mother-in-law Kathy Hodgson; his siblings, Bonnie Lovekamp of Waverly, Barbara Hale of Springfield, William "Bud" Burnett (Wanda) of Waverly, Tammy Chrisler (John) of Auburn, James and Charles Burnett; and his brothers-in-law, Allen Lovekamp, Donald Hale and Dick Hodgson.
