He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theehs and Mildred Theehs. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Greg (Wendy) of Algonquin and Lynn Atherley (Scott) of Bangor, Maine; his grandchildren, Kevin, Andrew Theehs, Carson (Meghan), Teagan and Kyelin Atherley; his great grandchildren, Ivy and Tilly Atherley; his sister Marion Long of Tennessee; his siblings-in-law, Mary and Ken Cross; his nieces, Cheryl Wollert (Dave) and Eloise Pierson; and his nephew Charles Long (Deborah). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1310 N Frolic Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
