It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William A. Shields of Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Marlene Shields. He is survived by: his wife Marie Shields; his children, Heather Leonard (Steve), Heidi Helmkamp (Tom) and Laurie Winner (Joe); his father Eugene Shields; and his sisters, Sharon Smith (Hugh) and Kathleen Wendricks (David). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
