He was predeceased by: his parents, Serafin Alfaro and Tomasa Alfaro; his father-in-law Francisco Martinez (Esther); his siblings, Santos Alfaro (Tomasa), Julio Alfaro (Grace), Antonio Alfaro and Ramon Alfaro; his son-in-law Thomas P. Iskalis; and his siblings-in-law, Guadalupe Navarro, Robert Martinez, Irma Montelongo, Raymond Martinez (Alicia), Mary Martinez and Juan Jaramillo.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his child Annamelia Earnest (Bruce) of Zion, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Bradley Earnest (Ady), Johnathan Earnest (Edmy), Leighana Foster (Mike), Gabrielle Bennet-Alfaro, Karissa Kristan and Kennedi Kristan; his great grandchildren, Mayah Earnest, Avery Earnest, Dominic Foster, Zoey Foster, Abel Earnest, Olivia Earnest and Damien Foster; his siblings, Domingo Alfaro (Gloria) and Felipa Navarro; his siblings-in-law, Juanita Alfaro, Manual Martinez (Anita), Francisco Martinez Jr., Sara Santos, Juanita Jaramillo, Olga Rico and Mage Martinez; and his nieces and nephews, Ray Alfaro, Raymond Alfaro, Rosie Rivera, Yolanda Moreno, Francisco Martinez Jr. III, Jose Rico, Julio Jaramillo, Jesus B. Martinez Sr., John Martinez, Diane Ballantyne and Jose Martinez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
