He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Kent Herndon, Sr. and Carolyn R. Herndon; and his brother John P. Herndon. He is survived by: his daughter Della Herndon (Illinois); his stepmother Tina Herndon (Illinois); his siblings, James Herndon (Illinois), Talbert Herndon (Arizona), Kellie Herndon (Illinois), Kristi Herndon (Illinois) and Tiara Herndon (Atlanta); and his grandmother Theresa Ellie Parker (Virginia). He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephew and friends.
