She is survived by: her children, Dante Lamonte Brown (Trina) of Beach Park, IL and Loreal Shamone Beckwith (Barry) of Waukegan, IL.; her grandchildren, Mar'Quise "D. J." Brown, Tabouri Diamond-Brown, De'Nitra Brown, Tabria Diamond-Brown, Shaleyah Brown, Shavae Brown, Navaeh Brown, Cheyenne Yancy and Keana Jones; her great grandchildren, Jamari Brown, Jayden Brown, Ariah Diamond-Brown, Atirah Diamond-Brown, Amiri Brown, Kaidance Yancy, Ahriya White, Ellery Logan, Zaidyn Maxey and Jameer Woods; her siblings, Willie Smith (Jerry) of Beach Park, IL, Kathleen Jones (Douglas) of Waukegan, IL. and Joe Charleston Jr. (Brenda) of Indianapolis, IN.; her mother-in-law Queen Ester Young of Waukegan, IL.; her siblings-in-law, Ira Young of North Chicago, IL, David Young of Waukegan, IL., Barbara Powell (Stephan) of Waukegan, IL and Gail Young-Hill of Gurnee, IL; her aunt Sarah Smith of Detroit, MI.; her cousin Lucy Collier of Waukegan, IL.; her friend Carolyn Barnett of Zion, IL.; her brother-in-law Douglas Jones; and her son-in-law Barry Beckwith.
