She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Moises; her mother Katherine Jourdain Jones; her mother-in-law Nicholasa Mercado (Nelly); her sister Violet Roti-Vasquez (Vi); and her father-in-law Enrique Mercado.

She is survived by: her children, Terri Lee, Margarita (Tita) and Luis Enrique; her grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Nicholas, Imanuel, Abigail and Olivia; her great grandchildren, Lilyana, Aleena, Mia, Aiden, Gabriel, Imanuel Jr. Nathaniel, Madelyn, Isaiah and Mateo; and her brothers, Jim Jones (Della) and Roger Jones of Shakopee, MN..

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Memorial Chapel of Waukegan (1521 Washington St, Waukegan, IL 60085). A prayer was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Park (33100 Hunt Club Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
