He was predeceased by: his parents, Ogden Sr. Ogden and Lillie Pearl Ogden; his siblings, Weenonia Chevis (J'nell), Mattie Hall and James Ogden (Sally); and his great grandchild A'mora Carson.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Parrish, Johnetta Carson (Douglas) and Valencia Belton; his grandchildren, Obray Carson, Tramar Carson (Lavender), Keyvon Ogden and Natalia Carson; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Carson, Heaven Carson, Tramar Carson Jr., Larmar Carson, Nasir Carson and Namaari Carson. He is also survived by nieces and his nephew.
