Margaret Ferruzzi Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Ferruzzi of Waukegan, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Stanczak (Dangwillo) and Edward A Stanczak; her spouse Glenn Anthony Ferruzzi; and her brother Edward A Stanczak, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Maureen Margaret (Wesley) and Jean Gibbons (Patrick); her granddaughters, Jacqueline Gibbons (Blake Olsen), Rosemary Gibbons and Julia Ward; her cousin Noelle Taras; her stepchildren, Lynne Angelos (Andrew), John Ferruzzi (Anne Rafelson) and Robert Ferruzzi (Melody); her stepgrandchildren, Melissa Anderson (Eric), William Flegal (Kirsten Johnson), Jake, Erin, Alex (Breanna), Cooper and Paxton Ferruzzi; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Sophia, Nolan, Jonah, Samuel and Tatum. She is also survived by relatives from Poland (her father's relatives) and Lithuania (her mother's relatives.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Dismas Catholic Church (2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087).
Donations in Marge's memory may be made to the Chicago Botanic Garden.
