It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Saul Mentada of Waukegan, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Juan Mentado and Ricarda Mentado of Round Lake; and his siblings, Tomas Mentado of Park City, Eufracia Moreno (Jose) of Zion, Paulina Viveros (Angel) of Park City, Georgina Bollas (Hugo) of Highwood, Edith Martinez (Jesus) of Zion, Rosalva Las (Jesus), Jessica Sotello (Hector) of Kenosha, WI and Easy Figueroa (Fidel) of Zion.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Joy (2000 Western Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Vernon Township Cemetery (15215 Cemetery Rd, Lincolnshire, IL 60069).
