Josephine A. Isaacson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine A. Isaacson (Waukegan, Illinois), born in North Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Ann Lakiotis; her parents, Stanley Janocha and Catherine Janocha; her husband Arthur Isaacson; her siblings, Joseph Janocha, Ted Janocha, Ann Janocha, Mary Janocha, Theresa Belec and Anthony Janocha; her nephew Robert Janocha (Andy); and her godson Robert J. Belec (David Janocha).
She is survived by: her children, John Isaacson (Rasa) and Jean Slusar (Richard); her grandchildren, Michael Lakiotis (Kristyn), Kristina Larkin (Evan), Andrea Lakiotis (Steven), Joshua Isaacson and Jake Isaacson; her great grandchildren, William Lakiotis and Alexander Lakiotis; and her nieces, Maribeth Mazzetta (Greg), Catherine Malone (Michael), Rebecca Huffer (Bruce), Sharon Janocha (Ron Kunda) and Ruth Olander (Jon). She is also survived by many cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations will be forwarded to Misericordia Heart of Mercy and the Art Department at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, to honor Josephine's love of children and art.
