It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloy Salgado Benitez of Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonardo Salgado and Maria C. Salgado; and his sister Mardonia. He is survived by: his wife Margarita; his children, Maria Elena, Deisy (Alan), Eloy Jr. (Erica) and Nereida (Brian); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Maddie, Aidan, Jayden, Chloe, Jaxson and Maddox; his pets, Cubbie, Cafesito, Wrigley and Paloma; and his siblings, Alma Delia, Guillermina, Luis, Rogelio, Margarita, Remigio, Juvenal, Arturo, Leonardo and Yeni.
