It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Sittler in Waukegan, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Carol departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carol leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Sittler. She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Sittler (Laurie) of Hugo and Mark (Lori) of Lake Villa, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Joshua Sittler (Rachel), Samantha Labus (Joseph), Jacquie Smith (Blake) and Diana Sittler.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (620 W Grove Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Donations in her name may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or a charity of choice.
