She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emil Korenowski and Irene Korenowski (Decker); her former spouse Francis E. Thacker; her husband Glen Giese; her brothers, Robert Korenowski and Emil Korenowski; her children, Marcia Valenstein (Thacker), Paul Thacker and Robert Thacker; her grandchildren, Clara Valenstein, Helen Valenstein-Mah, Patricia Karlander (Thacker), Erik Thacker (Claire), Zachary Thacker, Hunter Thacker and Spencer Thacker; and also, Paul Valenstein, Caroline Thacker and Aimee Belanger. She was also cherished by three great-grandchildren, four nieces, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
