He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Barnas, Matthew (Karen) and Jennifer Egan (Tim); his grandchildren, Kate Nunez (Alex), Toni Barnas, Conner, Shane, Scott, Nicole, Jessica Porten, Brad and Gage Egan; and his siblings, Eileen Wood (late Charles), Peter (Ruth), Catherine Baird (George) and Margaret Dehne.
