She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse J. Heischmidt and Delia P. Heischmidt (Koeberlein); her former husband Harold Haarmann; her daughter Denise Hahn; her sister Margaret Ransden (Carl); her nephew Greg Stoner; her niece Suzanne Stoner; and her great grandchild Evelyn Lack.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Zimmerman of Watson; her children, Bernard Haarmann (Deb), Tom Haarmann (Janet), Brenda Margold (Steve), Gloria Brummer (David), Elaine Dust (Tom) and Sharon Wente (Pat); her son-in-law Larry Hahn (Dolores); her children, Patricia Zimmerman, Phillip Zimmerman (Karen), Richard J. Zimmerman, William Zimmerman (Janice) and Ron Zimmerman (Stephen); and her siblings, Jesse A. Heischmidt (Patricia), Mark Heischmidt (Jennieann), Paul Heischmidt (Janet), Elizabeth Stoner (Lester) and Loretta Heischmidt. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anthony Schools or the Denise Marie Hahn Memorial Scholarship at St. John's College of Nursing in Springfield, IL.
