We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2022, at the age of 80, John Allen Chisler Sr. of Watson, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher T. Chisler and Clara E. Chisler (Sutton); and his children, John Allen Chisler Jr., Cody Allen Chisler and Lisa Robbins.

He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Elder of Watson; his daughters, Michele Bannick (Daniel Decker) of Sigel and Sara Chisler of Watson; and his brother James Chisler of Punta Gorda, Florida. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may go to Crossroads Cancer Center, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or the donor's choice.
