Charlene K. Bushur Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kreke and Gertrude Kreke (Hardiek); her son Doug; her grandson Wyatt Arnold; and her brother-in-law Harold Rauch.

She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Bushur; her children, Donna Ruholl (Steve), Daniel Bushur, Diane Arnold (Rob), Cindy Hallam (Daniel), Lisa Bushur, Lynn Wolff (Kory), Vickie Bushur, Glen Bushur (Mandi) and Gail Irwin (Trevor); and her brothers, Dick Kreke (Lois) and Michael Kreke (Barb). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (405 S Henrietta St, Effingham, IL 62401).

Since Charlene was a retired Unit 40 school bus driver, her family requests that donations go to Effingham Unit 40 Education Foundation for a scholarship to be named in her honor.
