He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich "Henry" Schieve and Pauline Schieve (Weidner); his wife Betty Stutler; his siblings, William, Richard, Edmond, Henry, Helen, Frieda, Elsie and Eleanor; and his grandchild Cory Crawford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Brooks (David) of Rock Springs, WY and Tammy Crawford of Watseka; his sisters, Martha Reiter of Orland Park, IL and Irene Schlemmer of Orland Park, IL; his grandchildren, Joy Burgener (Scott), Cindi Cain (Ronny), Danice Newman, Daina Gregory (Nick) and Shelby Crawford; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Baylie, Chasine, Jack, Kellen, Nia, Gilian and Brycen.
