He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Miner and Jean Miner (Saddler). He is survived by: his fiancé Tamika Pettis (Chloe); his stepchildren, Da'Shanta Pettis, Khadejah Pettis and Justin Brock; and his stepgrandsons, Ayden Michael and Royal Brandon.

Memorials may be made to St. Anne Masonic Lodge or Crescent City United Methodist Church.
