She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shields and Nelta Shields (Sandham); and her brother Jack Shields. She is survived by: her children, Christa Stefanicki of Apex, NC and John Grant (Jennifer) of Donovan; her grandchildren, Courtney Stefanicki, Henrik Grant and Niles Grant; her sister Jeannie Wright (Carl) of Salisbury, MD; and her pets, Charlie and Molly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
