She was predeceased by: her parents, Else Berta Agathe Groeschke and Heinz Guenter Reinhold Groeschke; her sister Hannelore Nielsen; and her sister-in-law Doris Groeschke. She is survived by: her children, Mary Mason (John) of West Lafayette, Chuck Garfield (Marie) of Watseka, Peggy Alford (Dean) of Dallas, Georgia and Judith Ball (Joshua) of Alsip; her grandchildren, Ryan Garfield (Abbey), Graeme Mason (Heidi), Jessica Mason (Gideon), Amanda Ball, Alex Mason (Kirsten) and John Ball; her great grandchildren, Addisen Garfield and Connor Garfield; and her brothers, Heinz Groeschke of Germany, Dieter Groeschke (Reńate) of Germany and Klaus Groeschke of Germany.
