He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Roberts and Virginia Roberts (Elson); and his siblings, Charles Roberts, Maybelle Laffoon, Beverly Eckstein and Ruth Leppard.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Anderson; his daughters, Dawn Hammer (Jeff) of Johnson City, TN and Dr. Darlene Roberts of Watseka; his grandchildren, Mindy Cavaness (Justin) of Fairbury, Samantha Hardman (Scott) of Pontiac and Matthew Hammer (Rebecca) of Jonesborough, TN; his great grandchildren, Tristin, Kevin, Gabbie, Hunter, Kaden, Alyssa, Isaiah, Luke, Matthew and Kayla; and his siblings, Seba Roberts and Lucille Hammersley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
