She was predeceased by: her parents, Oval Ping and Burness Ping (Drollinger); her husband Clarence W. Nimz; her siblings, Ival "Jim" Ping and Lulabell Portwood; her son William Nimz; and her grandson Robert Nimz II.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Thomas of Watseka, Ellen Beyer (Rick) of Paxton, Dr. Richard Nimz of Floresville, TX and Robert Nimz (Linda) of Battle Creek, MI; and her grandchildren, Erik Nimz (Kathy), Jennifer Dominguez (Jesse), Lezlie White, Gregg Thomas, Brian Thomas, Karen Wall (Ron), Kim Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Angela Brandon and Scott Beyer. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (301 S 4th St, Watseka, IL 60970). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
