It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn M. Smith of Watseka, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter L. Shafer and Anna Shafer (Hankey); and her brother Warren. She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Wallace of Normal, Carolyn Riedel (Tom) of Rantoul, Richard L. Smith (Donna) of Watseka and Steven R. Smith (Gena) of St. Augustine, FL; and her sister Catherine Feller (Roy) of Watseka. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and twenty-five great great grandchildren.
